Important reminders
Submit final HCSA claims by November 30, 2025
If you still have a balance in your Health Care Spending Account (HCSA), November 30, 2025 is your last day to submit final claims for any eligible services up to August 31, 2025.
As a reminder, the HCSA benefit was removed from the ONE-T Benefits Plan as of September 1, 2025.
Travelling over the holidays?
Make sure to download your digital Canada Life benefits card to your phone’s wallet before you leave. You can access it from the Canada Life website or by downloading the My Canda Life at Work app (available on Google Play and the App Store.
Your benefits card has a phone number to call if you or your dependent experience(s) a medical emergency while you’re outside of Canada.

Tax slips coming February 2026
You will receive a T4A in February from our administrator, Cowan, that you’ll need to include with your 2025 tax return.
Your T4A reports your taxable benefit for Life Insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance, since the premiums for these benefits are paid by ONE-T.
Change of address?
If you moved in 2025, please inform your school board or participating employer before the end of the year. This way, we can make sure Cowan’s system is up-to-date and that you will continue to receive important mail – like your T4A slip – on time.
