Sending you our best wishes for happiness and health this season!
As 2021 draws to a close, we want to share a few reminders about your plan.
Travelling over the holidays? Remember the Plan’s Emergency Travel Medical Coverage includes Global Medical Assistance and Out-of-Country Emergency Care in the event of a medical emergency while you or your dependents are outside Canada for vacation, business or education purposes. When it comes to COVID-19 related coverage through the plan, please review the member updates on our website or refer to your booklet for full coverage details.
The Canadian government’s rules around COVID-19 travel requirements continue to change rapidly, for the most up to date information visit this government travel link.
Tax slips for 2021 tax returns are coming your way. Cowan (our plan administrator) will send you a T4A slip in February to be included in your 2021 tax return. The T4A reports the Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) premiums paid by ONE-T.
Change of address? If you have had a change of mailing address in 2021, please inform your school board or participating employer before the end of December 2021. Any changes submitted after the end of December may not be included in Cowan’s TA4 update process and may cause a delay in delivery of your T4A.
