November 30, 2024, is your deadline to submit any final claims from the 2023-24 Benefit Plan Year to your Health Care Spending Account (HCSA).
Make sure to load your travel card to your phone before you leave. You can access it from the Canada Life website or by downloading the My Canda Life at Work app (available on Google Play and the App Store.
Your travel card has a phone number to call if you or your dependent experience(s) a medical emergency while you’re outside of Canada.
Learn more about your emergency travel medical benefits.
Note: You can also access a full benefits card – that includes your plan policy numbers and other important information – from the Cowan Member Access site. Once you're logged in, go to My ePackage.
You will receive a T4A in February from our administrator, Cowan, that you’ll need to include with your 2024 tax return.
Your T4A reports your taxable benefit for Life Insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance, since the premiums for these benefits are paid by ONE-T.
If you moved in 2024, please inform your school board or participating employer before the end of the year. This way, we can make sure Cowan’s system is up-to-date and that you will continue to receive important mail – like your T4A slip – on time.
